Independent research at Sheffield Hallam University found that Seagreens contained 3.5 times more antioxidants and phenols, up to 16 times more vitamin C, and twice the level of tannins than conventionally produced seaweed.
Unlike seaweed harvested for feed, fertiliser or industrial uses, Seagreens is specifically produced and monitored for human nutrition.

A landmark study published in the British Journal of Nutrition also demonstrated that iodine from Seagreens Ascophyllum nodosum is absorbed steadily, normalises TSH and has no adverse effects on thyroid function.
